My Experience on a Yamaha XT 660R.

Yamaha XT 660 R
Remember that Yamaha TT 600 I test rode, the one that nearly sent me into depression when I got back on my bike? Yeah, forget about that. The Yamaha XT 660R has just delivered the final blow. This is it. Game over.
You just know I’ll never look at bikes the same way again.
Yamaha XT 660 ROn my bike, hitting 100 km/h isn’t just a twist of the throttle. it’s a whole event. I start mentally preparing the night before, strategizing in my sleep on how to make it happen the next day. Yes, it’s that serious, ladies and gentlemen
Now, with the Yamaha XT 660R, things are different. You don’t chase 100 km/h it finds you. The moment you hit the highway, the bike is already there. It’s not about accelerating; it’s about figuring out how to slow down
And then, I learned something. You see how sportbike riders pull those insane overtakes that leave us thinking, That was close!?, I just found out, it’s not luck or miscalculation
It’s intentional.
I pulled off two of those maneuvers myself. You see an oncoming car, decide to overtake anyway, and for a moment, you wonder, Did that driver stop? Did I just squeeze through by sheer luck? But then it hits you the XT 660R is just too fast. The gap was never tight. The time and space were always more than enough. It’s not recklessness. Its the Power of These Japanese Bikes.
Yamaha XT 660 RAnd by the way why havent the government thought of making it mandatory for these torquey bikes to have seat belts? Because twice the bike almost left me after accelerating as if it was my Cocktail
Anyway to conclude I have retired my cocktail until such a time I will get enough money to get myself a legit bike. I will only be using it for these back routes and offroad trails.
